HOW ALL CASE STUDIES AND ARTICLES ARE PRODUCED
Please note that the case studies and articles I share on topics relating to civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, construction, economics, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, ESG, standards, codes of practice, and other related disciplines are not produced in isolation.
QHSEL Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. is supported by an advisory panel and an extensive network of trusted friends, industry practitioners, professional associations/bodies and subject matter experts who willingly contribute their knowledge, insights, and professional experiences.
This collective includes Professional Engineers with Practising Certificates (PEPC), licensed brokers, economists, academicians, competent persons, auditors, risk assessors, contractors, consultants, clients, enforcement officers, active and former intelligence operatives, IT and cybersecurity specialists, AI practitioners, VR/AR/MR professionals, architects, bankers, Syariah experts, and specialists from various other fields.
As such, this is far from a one-man effort. Behind every article is a panel of experienced professionals who provide guidance, technical input, peer review, and practical perspectives drawn from real-world experience.
Many of these contributors prefer to remain anonymous to protect the confidentiality of projects, organisations, and sensitive information entrusted to them. Their motivation is not recognition, but rather to contribute towards a greater purpose: promoting sound practices, strengthening governance, enhancing compliance, improving industry standards, and reducing deficiencies, non-conformances, and avoidable failures across various sectors.
The views presented are therefore often the result of multidisciplinary collaboration, professional discourse, and collective expertise rather than the opinion of a single individual.

The recent victories by Barisan Nasional (BN) in Johor and Negeri Sembilan undoubtedly represent one of the most significant political challenges faced by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's since taking office.
However, the outcome of state elections and the stability of the federal government are two very different matters.
Several scenarios are now possible.
1. The Current Government Remains in Power
This is the most likely scenario. The federal government will continue to govern as long as it retains the support of a majority of Members of Parliament (MPs) in the Dewan Rakyat. State election results alone do not automatically determine the fate of the federal administration.
2. Cabinet Reshuffles and Policy Adjustments
The Prime Minister may introduce policy changes, reshuffling the Cabinet, strengthening cooperation among coalition partners, rebuilding support across different communities, and placing greater emphasis on issues related to the rising cost of living.
This would likely be the practical course of action before considering more significant measures.
3. BN will have a stronger position within the coalition
The latest victories may strengthen BN's bargaining power, potentially allowing the coalition to seek greater influence in policymaking, additional Cabinet representation, and a clearer strategy leading into the next general election.
Whether BN chooses to remain within the existing coalition framework or pursue an alternative path remains an open question.
4. An early general election remains unlikely
Although the Prime Minister has the constitutional authority to advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to dissolve Parliament, economic uncertainty, ongoing fiscal reforms, preparations for Budget 2027, and broader political considerations make such a move less probable at this stage.
5. Can BN simply reclaim Putrajaya?
The answer is no. Success in Johor and Negeri Sembilan does not automatically translate into control of the federal government. Any change in administration would require a loss of parliamentary support, a successful vote of no confidence, the resignation of the Prime Minister, or a general election.
From my perspective, the more likely outcome is a period of negotiation, recalibration and political manoeuvring rather than an immediate return to the polls.
As many Malaysians often observe, state elections may serve as an important sign, but they do not necessarily represent the final verdict.

Sebarang perubahan kerajaan memerlukan salah satu keadaan berikut:
Kehilangan sokongan majoriti di Parlimen,
Undi tidak percaya yang berjaya,
Peletakan jawatan Perdana Menteri, atau
Keputusan melalui pilihan raya umum.
