If you see an advertisement showing luxury sports cars and claiming the government will give you a hundred-thousand-ringgit payout if the program fails SWIPE AWAY IMMEDIATELY! It is a highly dangerous, multi-layered financial fraud.
Scammers are now pairing these ads with lookalike websites and AI-generated video clips to steal your hard-earned money.
How They Rig the Psychological Trap:
1) The Luxury Hook: They show off sports cars to trigger aspiration and make you think you can get rich overnight,
2) The Fake Government Guarantee: They explicitly promise that the Malaysian government will pay you hundreds of thousands in compensation if you lose money. This is a complete lie. No government backs or insures private, unregulated cryptocurrency applications.
3) The Deepfake PM Video: The ad includes a video that looks like Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim speaking. Listen closely the voice sounds weird, stiff, and the accent is entirely unnatural.
Scammers are using AI voice cloning and lip-syncing software to falsify his endorsement. A Prime Minister would never promote a retail crypto platform!
4) The Cloned Website: Clicking the ad takes you to a fake page designed to look like an official government announcement, using terms like "BitcoinMillionaire" or "Quantum AI" under a fake "Government Program."
How to Spot the Fake Instantly:
Check the URL: Official government portals always end in dot gov dot my. Look at the address bar in these scams they use completely unrelated, bizarre domains (like istravelona dot sbs).
Unrealistic Claims: They promise massive passive income (like "RM20,500 or RM130,000 monthly") with zero risk. Legitimate investments never guarantee wealth.
High-Pressure Tactics: They tell you that a "strictly limited number of spots" are available to force you into registering before you have time to think or research.
What You Should Do:
DO NOT enter your name, email, or phone number. If you do, aggressive scam networks will call you non-stop.
NEVER transfer money. Once your funds go into these untraceable crypto wallets, they are gone forever.
